Cooper - Graveside service for Mr. John Nathan Cooper will be held Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road. He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. John was born November 16, 1952 to James Roscoe Cooper, Sr. (deceased) and Lottie Zipperer Cooper. He was a simple, determined man. He never met a stranger, he enjoyed tinkering on his truck, fishing, reading, star gazing, talking about his many travels, telling stories and his guns, but most of all he loved his family. He is survived by his mother, Lottie Cooper, who is Johns's hero; his wife, Eunice Cooper, who loved him dearly; brothers, James R. Cooper, Jr. (Debbie), Steven Cooper (Andrea); sisters, Betty Prine (Steve), Janice Capps, Shirley Luallen (Charles), Wanda Faye Cooper, Debbie Lynn Pittman (Jed), Sadie Bembry (Roger); aunt, Thelma Amerson; uncle, Joseph Zipperer; a host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews.
