Gary Edward Bullard, 85, passed away peacefully from natural causes on Friday, April 14, 2017. Born in Hamilton County, Florida, to Martha Joyner Bullard and Russell Edward Bullard, he resided in Ormond Beach from 1968 until his death. Gary was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Blanche "Annette" Bullard, Ormond Beach, Florida, daughters Anna Marie Cadogan (John), Jacksonville, Florida, Cesery Lynne Bullard, Orlando, Florida, Martha Ellen Bullard, Ormond Beach, Florida and grandson Garrett Thomas Cadogan, Jacksonville, Florida.
Gary served proudly in the National Guard from 1953 to 1963. He graduated from the University of Florida in 1954 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and was a founding member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity.
Gary went on to a successful four-decade career as a real estate appraiser throughout Florida, having established Bullard & Associates in 1968 and growing to a staff of more than ten associate real estate appraisers and administrative support personnel. Gary successfully obtained the two highest professional designations available for appraisers: Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) and Senior Real Estate Appraiser (SREA). He was also a licensed real estate broker and a licensed building contractor.
Gary served as president of the Daytona Beach YMCA and was instrumental in establishing the Ormond Beach YMCA. He was a past member of the Ormond Beach Rotary Club and served as a director for SunTrust Bank.
He was known for his generosity of heart to others, especially his family. He was extremely loving and proud of his three daughters. Gary never knew a stranger and his heart was big enough to offer help where needed, love unconditionally, and always do best by his family, friends and neighbors. He leaves behind many grateful for his influence and impact on their lives. Gary will be missed by all that knew him.

That best portion of a good man's life,
His little, nameless, unremembered acts
Of kindness and of love.
