Charles Victor Capan, beloved husband and father, age 91, died Monday, June 13, 2016 at Lake City Medical Center, Lake City, Fla.
He was born in Cottonwood, Ala. on June 4, 1925 and moved to Greenville in 1946. He was second generation owner and operator of Capan Logging for many years before retiring. He was a member of Greenville Baptist Church, Greenville, Fla.
He is survived by his wife, Beatrice, of sixty-six and a half years; two daughters: Charlsie Gaston (Allen) of Greenville and Charlene Roebuck (Eddie) of Jennings; five Grandchildren: Stephanie Driggers, Julie Glover, April Tharp, and Ronnie Charles Bass, Lee Roebuck and seven Great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents: Jake and Repsie Capan; brother: Dorman Capan and sister: Mary Harnage.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, at Greenville Baptist Church, Greenville, Fla. with burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1 - 2 p.m. at the church.
